Couples Retreat I

Expanding Love — Liberate Your Sacred Erotic Potential — Advanced Intimacy Practices for Healthy Long-Term Couples

This workshop will allow couples to liberate and expand their sexuality through an integration of their individual desires, their relationship strength and history, and their spiritual beliefs. This is accomplished by also identifying and releasing cultural and religious ideas, that have inhibited, stifled and redirected sexuality in ways that have diminished the capacity of intimacy and erotic experience. This workshop will -

• help couples identify ideas and behaviors that have limited intimacy and sacred erotic expression.
• provide mystic and sacred ideas hidden in historic spiritual writings that reveal the power hidden in sexual loving expression.
• provide teachings on touch, full sensory expression, rituals of intimacy and honor that expand intimacy and erotic experience.
• assist couples in re-inventing and designing a sacred sexual life that honors full sensual expression, sacred intention, and embodied attention and presence.

Since this workshop asks couples to reflect and identify thoughts, beliefs and desires in areas of intimacy, sexuality and spirituality, it explores areas of extreme vulnerability. Thus this workshop is only available to couples who have a long history of monogamy and who have developed a deep well of trust, honor, respect, strong communication and companionship. It is also best that individuals are well into their 30’s or older, or have spent considerable time reflecting on how they are different and similar to the cultural mandates and discourses of success and value.

Expanding Love — Re-member-ing One Day Follow-up Retreat — Advanced Intimacy Practices for Healthy Long-Term Couples

For couples in healthy long term relationships, who have already attended the Weekend Couples workshop: Expanding Love — Liberate Your Sacred Erotic Potential.

This one-day workshop is an opportunity to fine tune your sacred erotic relationship and focus on areas that are particular to your own journey of dynamic intimacy. Fine-tuning will -

• help couples identify ideas and behaviors that have limited intimacy and sacred erotic expression.
• identify each couples unique barriers to sacred sexual intimacy.
• explore tailor made exercises that reduce barriers and expand loving experience.
• learn advanced practices of applying mystic and sacred ideas in sexual expression.
• assist couples in the continuing process of re-inventing and designing a sacred sexual life that honors full sensual expression, sacred intention, and embodied attention and presence.
